Introduction:
The School of Entrepreneurial Engineers is a non-profit organization committed to transforming tech talents into successful startup founders and contributing significantly to the Tunisian startup ecosystem and economy. As part of our ongoing efforts to support and enhance entrepreneurial and technical skills among software engineers, developers, and tech specialists, we are seeking to engage a highly skilled and experienced Lead Senior Entrepreneurial Engineer on a freelance.
Positions Overview:
The Freelance Senior Entrepreneurial Engineer will guide startup teams through the complicated process of software development, ensuring a seamless transition from theoretical planning and learning to practical, agile project execution. This role is pivotal in transforming teams into effective Scrum units capable of delivering innovative software solutions in an startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Development and Product Management: Act as the Lead Developer and Product Manager, structuring and guiding the software development process.
- Agile Project Oversight: Ensure that startup teams adhere to agile methodologies, facilitating rapid and effective product iterations.
- Code Review and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards of software quality.
- Project Control: Monitor and control project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects stay on track to meet strategic objectives.
- Mentorship and Team Leadership: Provide continuous support and leadership to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in senior engineering roles such as Senior Tech Lead, Tech Architect, or CTO, preferably within a startup ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in leading agile teams and startup projects, with a portfolio of successful tech products.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and guiding teams through complex tech-startup project landscapes.
- Proficient in English, with excellent problem-solving abilities and a collaborative work ethic. French or Arabic a plus.
Contract Details:
This position is offered on a freelance basis for a duration of 3 months, with potential for renewal based on performance and project needs. More information on request.
